Peace is something we all long for, yet it often feels just out of reach in a restless and fractured world. On the night of Jesus’ birth, heaven announced that real peace had finally come, not through force or politics, but through a Savior lying in a manger. This week’s Advent text, Luke 2:8–14, calls us to receive the peace of Christ, a peace that reconciles us to God and steadies our hearts even when life remains unsettled.

Life Groups at Canyon Creek are vibrant communities where individuals deepen their journey with Christ through mutual love and support. Comprising approximately eight to ten members, these groups are guided by church leaders and members passionate about fostering growth in Christ, enhancing scriptural understanding, and creating a nurturing community. Harbor House (HH) of Oakland is a ministry partner of Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church.
